Pain in the Pigeon

My back pain was about a 2 on the 10 scale today, which is pretty much nil.
But, sigh, I was writing my class format for tonight and tried a simple and gentle pigeon pose to think on how to cue it. The pain scale went up to about 8 the second I came out of the pose.

I went to see my doctor/chiro last week and upon examination and what-not, it is determined that I have not a “strained” back, but a sprained back. Which is pretty much badder. Specifically it is my large SI ligament, which explains why any twisting or arching hurts immediately, and any cardio with the legs irritates [...]
